SFREDSKIN 10-30-2012, 04:39 PM Washington Post (http://m.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/wp/2012/10/30/mike-shanahan-redskins-could-be-5-3-if-not-for-injuries-on-defense/) 53Fan 10-30-2012, 04:45 PM Just wondering how many teams in the NFL RG3 would have looked BAD on? 53Fan 10-30-2012, 05:08 PM I love ya Dynamite Rave. But its true. RG3 don't need no stinkin' coaches. Or a playbook either, for that matter! You all think that me goat and gtripp like being the negative nancies. Pretty sure we don't. But us three also don't like going up a hill in neutral either. And thats just what we see. Shit, we are prolly wrong, and our defense will probably tighten up quicker than a homophobe's sphincter muscle at a gay club. We all hope it does. But at the end of the day, I think us three expect a little more than the usual wait and see that us redskins fans have gotten way too used to the past 20 years. With RG3, hopefully Dan Snyder will see what us three think this team could be, and cut bait from the 75 year old coach who hasn't had a playoff appearance in the past 7 seasons, but who has now all of a sudden started to show results, just when our qb savior comes around. You all want to give that credit to the egomaniac coach with a 35% winning %, fine. Us three put ours on the young out of this universe athlete and what HE brings to the table. Well you and Goat and GTripp are obviously knuckleheads! How dare you question anything about this organization after years and years of...of...of....nevermind. MTK 10-30-2012, 05:13 PM Just wondering how many teams in the NFL RG3 would have looked BAD on? Probably any team that tried to force him into a more conventional pro offense right off the bat. JoeRedskin 10-30-2012, 05:29 PM Well you and Goat and GTripp are obviously knuckleheads! How dare you question anything about this organization after years and years of...of...of....nevermind. There are lots of things to question. It is the unrelenting, complete and utter failure to credit anything that the organization has done right under MS/BA that is drawing ire. Let me speak in the same language that has been leveled at me and see if it makes it easier for you to see why I find the posts blasting Shanahan so obnoxious: If you can't see that this organization is in a better place than it was 3 years ago, then you are a moronic Cerrato apologist. los panda 10-30-2012, 05:32 PM There are lots of things to question. To add to that, don't say Shanahan had the benefit of coaching in the weak AFC and then laud Jeff Fisher his accomplishments in the AFC. Don't say Shanahan was at fault for poor QB play last year and then deny his influence of the strong QB play this year. Don't say we need to get rid of a has been in Mike Shanahan and then suggest we should consider Bill Cowher. And don't say that if you agree with a moderator's opinion you're just a sycophant. REDSKINS4ever 10-30-2012, 05:49 PM I'm consistently patient. I think while the Redskins are headed in the right direction, things could be worse than they are. I'm willing to cut Mike Shanahan some slack. The team he inherited from Jim Zorn is more competitive. If not for drafting RG3, the Redskins would be tied with Carolina at 1-6. If not for the defense taking 1,000 steps back, the Redskins would own a 6-2/5-3 record even with the injuries to Carriker and Orakpo. The problem isn't Mike Shanahan. If you look at the Giants, they aren't really that much better or worse than the Redskins. They own a 6-2 record because they are a more complete team. Allen and Shanahan aren't through completing the Redskins. RedskinRat 10-30-2012, 05:54 PM People are looking at just the W/L, not how competitive the Skins have been this year. We've been out of just one game in eight so far. That's a huge step up even if it's not currently reflected in W/L, which it will be. los panda 10-30-2012, 05:59 PM I'm consistently patient.
