Why feed the troll?
Plus, Goat there are plenty of other teams to go cheer for. Go pick one that makes you happy. Football is escape from reality; if the skins and this web site are causing huge amounts of frustration for you go somewhere else.
I heard Houston is having a good year.

I am sure more then a few people here would pitch in to get you a hat or jersey. Would you prefer a Watt one or Schaub?
You been to a home game recently. Not alot of cheering going on by anyone.

Was just thinking, two of the last three Redskins head coaches came out of retirement to coach the Skins. The third guy is a journeyman QB coach on his third or fourth NFL team. (Chiefs)
Just don't try to make the "presentation" argument. I'm an unapologetic a$$hole and once it was obvious didn't hold back about calling this regime the joke it is, but there were plenty of folks around here offering perfectly polite analysis of how bad Mike and Co have been. Had nothing to do with lack of reasoned arguments, approach, etc. Had everything to do with the mods seemingly endless efforts to makes excuses for the regime and diminish the skeptics and their posts. Some of the skeptics just left the conversation, I didn't.
Again, trying to put it on presentation is just dishonest.
Edit: I think mods can forget how much their insertion of opinion, however inconsistent with reality, influences discussion etc etc. You have sycophants, toadies and bootlickers like NC who can't help themselves from agreeing with people of authority. That's an extreme case, but there's probably some reasonable, thoughtful Skins fans who just avoid discussion here because at times it's been more about rooting for a failed regime than a franchise.
Sorry but you couldn't be more wrong.
You seem to hold being a moderator in an oddly high regard. We're just here to keep the discussions flowing and keep the spammers, assholes and trolls out. That's it. Our opinions aren't some sort of calculated mass conspiracy. Nor should they be held in any higher regard than anyone else's.
Funny you bring up people avoiding discussion, because I know plenty that have recently and it's not because of why you seem to think.
It's quite comical how you see things really.
Paranoid much?
Thanks for clearing that up.
I didnt last very long on ES. Lol.
This whole LL thing started by Joe Redskins question "who is he"? Have been so confusing to me. Especially woth laron landry and lance lewis floating around. Lol think i got it now.
Why is that?

Buddy boy? You make some decent points in your posts. And then you come up with such idiocies as "Mike Shanahan had the benefit of playing in the easy AFC" followed by "Jeff Fisher is so awesome. He's been an amazing coach in the (suddenly powerful) AFC" or "Mike Shanahan is a has been who hasn't won in forever" followed by "I certainly wouldn't say no if Bill Cowher called"
That is why people say you hate just to hate. ...
It's no wonder so many people have started ignoring you.
and, yet, you ... keep ... quoting ... him!!!

1. NC is many things, a "sycophant, toadie or bootlicker" who can't help himself "from agreeing with people in authority" is not one of them. You're arrogance is mind boggling.
2. I, among others I am sure, have been avoiding this discussion b/c this horse has been beaten to death, turned into dogfood, fed to the dog, sh** back out, used as manure to grow hay which was fed to the previous horse's colt which in turn was beaten to death, turned into dogfood ...
At this point, this thread is essentially a never ending rant by Shanny haters. It is fun to visit to watch their frustration.
3. I can't believe I quoted and responded, to a Goat Quote. May God have mercy on my soul.

I didn't particulary like Shanahan when we brought him here. It's pretty easy to check. But I was happy as hell Vinny was gone and we had a real GM. I was willing to give him a chance and changed my sig to reflect it. I've been excited at times. Especially about RG3. But now I think the flaws are coming out and the things I didn't like about Mike then are the same they are now. He's the same guy they got rid of in Denver. I think we are better off in some areas since he got here and would now like to see what a new offensive minded young HC and an experienced motivated (unlike Haslett) young DC could do. If we're sticking with the 3-4 than get an experienced 3-4 coach. I haven't researched guys but there is certainly some talent out there. I had no idea who Mike Smith was until he became coach of the Falcons. Mike's gonna be what he was...he lost his team his owner his defenses the last years sucked and we've all heard the micromanaging egomaniac stories. We have a GM and some young talent and probably the best QB or one of the best in the NFL. Thanks Mike for helping to clean house. Let's move on now.
