There is plenty of room to criticize underachieving players after today. This thread could have easily been "should DeAngelo Hall still be employed by the Redskins", but in the big picture, that's irrelevant. Hall will be playing in the NFL for someone next year. That team will not be winning.
Shanahan may very well be on television next year.

No my point was you said no coach since Norval has lasted more than 3 years, which Gibbs did. It wasn't so much about whether he deserved to be fired. I remember fans calling for Gibbs' head too, saying he was out-of-touch, etc. I definitely didn't want Gibbs to leave either.Gibbs 2.0 won within his first two years of coming back. He had already justified his re-hire heading into year three.

I completely agree that D Hall should go. He has become more of a liability than an asset.
D Hall needs to go. Honesty, I do not see the Sinks getting rid of him this year, but I also do not see D Hall being on the team next year.
If the Skins can find a replacmemt for D Hall this season, I am all for it.
With all of D Hall's experience in the NFL, he should know better than to get in the face of a ref.

today's loss was almost 100% on dropped balls and bad defense. the WRs haven't had that problem before, so that's really kind of odd, but the bad D was a known problem that does go against the personal decisions that allowed these players to see the field.

Association brings assimilation. If he keeps hammering home the "it's the coaches fault" idea, people will start believing it.
I think sometimes it is the coaches fault (Zero blitz, leaving D. Hall on an island will always linger in my memory) but I think today was on the shoulders of the players, sloppy play, sloppy execution, non-existent defense but coupled with weird desperation plays (RG3 as a WR. Paulsen on a TE screen).
This whole thing was a collective loss. F's all around.
Absolutely. The coaches didn't drop 10 passes...but the whole team looked flat and the coaches do hold some responsibity for that. This was a total team loss. And I haven't said much about Haslett..in fact I've talked more about our injuries...but good lord this guy is NOT DC material. At least not in the 3-4.

RG-3 - gee that was a tough call - nobody thought he was gonna be any good - really went out on a limb there
A- mo - great great pick.
TW - check
Kerrigan- check
Starting to run thin now. Probably firgetting a couple good ones but the bad picks outweigh them - so yeah im goin there.

2010 draft was missing a lot of picks and they got a couple good players. Last year was Kerrigan, Helu, royster, hank, and we will see how Jenkins turns out. This year was pretty good of course. Go back to drafts before he arrived, there is literally nothing except Rak.
Then I'm a moron because I give him give full years.
Sign me up for the moron parade too

I think Shanahan should have until the end of next year before these questions start happening.

Didn't he draft paulsen? If so that was a solid pick.
