Do you guys ever just watch a football game and enjoy it for what it is without comparing everything back to the Skins?? Just curious.
I mean, for the last year Luck vs RG3 was the talk of football, and it only increased after the draft. So thinking along the lines of comparison here is pretty obvious, right?
And how can we forget all the analysts who said RG3 would have a better rookie year because he was surrounded by superior talent and coaching than Luck
I can't wait for the day we can move beyond the Shanny debacle...it's getting soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo old.

Brilliant. Soda came out my nose on that one.

Again, I understand that Luck and RG3 are going to be tied together for their careers.
It's the team comparisons that I think are a little pointless.
The Colts are obviously much better off talent wise than most of us gave them credit for. They also haven't been hit by the injury bug as hard as we have. Pagano's illness is undoubtedly giving them extra inspiration and motivation as well. That element can't be underestimated.

Yeah I get that. People just taking it to the extreme though, as usual. We knew they were both going to be special. Is anyone surprised that Luck is playing well?
Matty, I would feel like I was in the Twilight Zone if Redskins fans didn't take things to the extreme...LOL!
So what teams are we ok to compare against?
When I watched the game last night I wasn't wondering why the Skins aren't 6-3 too.
Don't let me ruin the fun, maybe I'm the crazy one.

So what teams are we ok to compare against?
Please feel free to offer up comparisons to any teams meeting the following criteria:
1) has 4 or more injuries to starting skill positions
2) had a major reduction in cap space 2 days prior to FA start
3) has both a rookie starting QB, and rookie starting RB
4) their last 4 opponents have an avg top 15 defense (our last 4 avg top 12th {1,9,26,15} Colts last 4 avg 26th {31,21,29,27})
fair enough?

Really the only teams I compare against are in our division because that's who we competing directly with for a playoff spot. Right now, Eagles orgainization is in a free fall, Cowboys are completely lost, and the Giants are clutch but not consistent. The Skins are on the way up now that we have a franchise QB.
Why would I give a flying f*ck about the colts?

Well, to be fair, they expected the Colts to be at 3 wins all season and us at around 6, so the Colts performance is more what is the outlier, not their predictions for us.
And of course aren't you one who said that you don't listen to what the media says? So why would you be using that now to justify your argument?
