Well our issue, as you've noted in the past, seems to be more about talent acquisition and less about coaching. The lack of secondary talent at this point falls squarely on Shanny's shoulders. The mere act of letting Landry go with no reasonable plan to replace him is irresponsible to me. It's one thing to let him go because you've got a younger cheaper healthier player who can approximate the production but we replaced him with a bunch of castoffs and journeymen. Baffling.
The actual coaching is more of a secondary issue than a primary one. It is an issue though. The decisions to move Niles Paul and play Tyler Polumbus will not make the hall of fame. Not to mention the questionable decisions that havent completely stunk, like going with Will Montgomery at center another year.
Alfred Morris has fixed a huge Torain-sized hole at RB, but I'm not sure what Royster has to do in order to earn playing time.
The primary issue is that what we've built is a bad team with a transcendental talent at quarterback. And he's almost single handedly beating teams on Sunday, despite being handcuffed in the passing game quite a bit (not without good reason, see: Polumbus, Tyler).

RG3 and the offense lost this game in the end. They turned the ball over way too much. Defense gave them the ball back plenty of times. Huge blunder by the D at the end though, terrible playcalling by Haz.
Yes I agree that there were too many TOs. However wtih 1:40 the opponent should never score in two plays. There should be something called prevent defense-that doesn't allow for anything over the top. At this level the defense shouldn't get beat like that, in that situation - this one is on the defense.

We aren't. But neither are we sucking it up. We are 3-4 and were in the position to lose this game on a big play b/c, unlike we have done all year long, we turned the ball over.
I also believe we are improved from last year and in position to keep improving - and not just b/c of RGIII.
We're definitely improved from where we were 365 days ago. But most of that improvement was made in December of last year, and/or when we benched John Beck.

I think Wil Montgomery has been much better this year. Its surprised me actually. In fact the entire interior oline has been a very solid bunch imo

Royster doesn't even get carries over young and hes a fb. He must not be any good or he just doesn't get the offense or something.

I have been watching your posts. It's called grammar check it out. You are so doom and gloom when we lose. The trade thread wanting to pick up different offensive players.... Hmm we are pretty damn good on O. If this team didn't turn the ball over three times on our side of the field I highly doubt we lose.
I guess that was the secondary's fault too.
Stick with the plan guys. Let this group run the course of their contracts and see where we stand. This team is getting better and better. And btw the way we are super young. We will win soon if not this year.
I didnt wanna pick up diff players and im on my phone so does spell checks for me and its annoying just because i said welker is better than moss or if people think we have wrapons you get salty cause im telling the truth. I expected us to lose and i didmt say anything bad about our O at all . Nice try tho even tho ive already expressed how much i bate the defense you bring in the offense? We are scoring why would i complain? .
And we got better on O idk about defense we are better but we could be much better due tp defense. Sadly our bafoon coach ruined it.
But feel free to point out im wrong i repeat we have no wr's they are avg.

It's progressed as expected, but I still think the decision to move forward with those three can be questioned. For the record, I'm not criticizing the actual play at the center position. It's a heck of a lot better than it was when Rabach was here. I'm just saying that the move wasn't popular.
Right tackle is the only sieve on this OL. Also a good time to remind everyone: we're paying jammal brown more money than anyone else on the offense not named Trent Williams.

I agree with you but were not getting graded on this and i understand what he is saying even with the poor grammar. Maybe he is typing on his phone or he is just not the best speller but no need to make fun.

Ok fine grammar aside, I don't agree with him. The FO isn't the problem and neither is the offense. We all know where the problems lie. The defensive back field.
Our O is the leading rushing team, and what third in scoring and yardage overall. We are good on O besides a RT.
Focus this team on finding a new d backfield and another pass rusher and we are good. Ready to contend for the NFC good.
