I hope we never ever see that type of body language from Griffin.
Around the NFL...Week 7 StyleCRedskinsRule 10-22-2012, 04:35 PM I hope we never ever see that type of body language from Griffin. SmootSmack 10-22-2012, 04:37 PM Cam Newton has the emotional maturity of a teenager, which I think was known before he was drafted? I may have missed it in this thread, but wondering about the call against Tampa Bay to end the game verses New Orleans. Was the call correct? I was confused, and they didn't explain it very well on TV. I understand what they called, just wondered what the rulebook says? Confused the heck out of me. Not as bad as Jim Nantz making me think my J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets had won though SmootSmack 10-22-2012, 04:42 PM I hope we never ever see that type of body language from Griffin. Don't think we will because a) that's not the type of person RG3 is and b) I'm sure people will laugh at this but RG3 has Rex Grossman and Cam has Derek Anderson. Anderson is a known Grade A a-hole, whereas Rex is all class. In the locker room and to the media. Rex is a major influence on RG3's behavior as an NFL pro. And I think Anderson is to Cam as well BigHairedAristocrat 10-22-2012, 04:46 PM You married BHA? No... Does Kyles wife hate DC or something? SmootSmack 10-22-2012, 04:57 PM No... I'm SOOOOO glad this idiot is on the Panthers and not here. I'm sad to see the Panthers have to deal with this scrub. oHlubc-kNsY That said, Hurney needed to be fired the moment he resigned Jake Delhomme to a huge contract after throwing a 5-6 INT game in the playoffs. He's now signed Williams, Stewart, and Johnson to huge contracts and they haven't done diddly squat. Moronic GM moves to say the least. What a punk. I wouldnt call him a one hit wonder just yet but his second record isnt topping the charts. NC_Skins 10-22-2012, 05:26 PM She loves it here Ask her that question again next time she's in traffic. :laughing- CRedskinsRule 10-22-2012, 05:28 PM Don't think we will because a) that's not the type of person RG3 is and b) I'm sure people will laugh at this but RG3 has Rex Grossman and Cam has Derek Anderson. Anderson is a known Grade A a-hole, whereas Rex is all class. In the locker room and to the media. Rex is a major influence on RG3's behavior as an NFL pro. And I think Anderson is to Cam as well I was, early on in the season, thinking that if they aren't going to dress Rex we ought to let him go and use the spot for someone else. But, the one comment Griffin made about Rex telling him you want them to score so you can have time to win it, and then even more the end of the 76 yarder last week, Rex came up to him right away laughing and smiling and said "you can smile till Wednesday". Those moments were good things for a rookie (yes he's still a rookie) qb to hear. skinsfaninok 10-22-2012, 07:44 PM Looks like Trent "bust " Richardson will miss more time With the ribs injury. calia 10-22-2012, 08:24 PM Did anyone else see this? (My apologies if it is elsewhere here.) But seriously, WTF? (Reported by Dan Graziano.) Shouldn't Joe be encouraging the Panthers to go crush the Cowboys? Isn't a cardinal rule that our favorite team is whoever is playing Dallas? This was an odd one: Former Redskins coach Joe Gibbs gave the Cowboys their Saturday night pep talk at the team hotel in Carolina. I think what's weird about it is that the speech seemed designed to help the Cowboys feel better about screwing up the clock management at the end of the previous week's game in Baltimore, which means it seemed aimed at coach Jason Garrett, which means I wonder why all of the players had to hear it. But Jerry Jones is an odd cat. Also interesting in this anecdote is that Jones seems to indicate that Gibbs was the one who gave him the idea that the head coach should be one of the coordinators. |
