Let's talk about it here, what did you think of the first episode?

A good start thus far and I can see how they are piecing together some stuff from the books. I'm interested to see if they keep certain story plot lines pivotal to what's happened in the books into the series because stuff gets pretty brutal about this stage of the game.

I loved it! Normally I don't really like it when a show seems to pander to its audience's expectations, but I like that they listen and make Rick more an of actual leader. I think we're in for a great season.

Going by the books, this season should be pretty intense. They definitely have a lot of great material to work off of. Last night was a good start.

Episode 2 (of season 3) was pretty good. I find it interesting how the plot somewhat follows the books and if you have read them you have an idea of whats to come but then they add little twists to the plot, ie; Hershal getting bit and losing a leg. In the books if you remember it was a set of twins father who got bit and lost a leg.

I remember the leader of the prisoners having lived a little longer then the tv plot. lol. I can't wait for the whole "Governor" scene's to come up. I think in Episode 3 we should meet the Governor.

Can't wait for the Governor... as bad as things are now they are only going to get worse.

The character will be portrayed by British actor David Morrissey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Morrissey). Glen Mazzara, when asked about the direction of the character for the third season of the show, explained that he will be shown as a man self-absorbed with the concept that the new apocalyptic world is his chance to have the power he lacked in everyday life. He is driven as an individual, and willing to resort to the most extreme of measures to achieve his ultimate goal. [8] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Governor_%28The_Walking_Dead%29#cite_note-7)

Might be as early as next week.
