1. When doctors clear a person to play Pro Football 1 week after concussion they are not good doctors. The brain does not heal in 1 week. Don't need professional training to know that.

2. Some thing are just obvious.

So, maybe you should of inspected RG3. Since you have the know how to notice who is a bad doctor, and who is not.

I saw on the news this morning that Dale Junior suffered a concussion in that wreck last week and now he's sitting out the next two races. I was surprised by this. When RG three takes hits constantly and he's not sitting out any games it's surprising that a race car driver has to sit out two weeks.

I hadnt heard that,Im surprised by that also.I watched the race and I didnt think JR wrecked that hard{or harder than anyone else}Seems like if he sustained a concussion then a bunch of other drivers should have as well}
I'd have to agree with 44ever,if RG3 sustained a concussion,I dont think he should play.We as fans want them to play,it doesnt affect us.
If he was your son would you want him to play?
We want RG3 here for a long time,does having 1 concussion make you more susceptible to having the next one? Or coming back too soon from one,like maybe JR did?
As much as I want RG3 to play sunday,I dont think its in his or the teams long term best interest.

When RGIII runs over 100mph and slams into somebody, let me know.

Also with NASCAR they are bouncing around like ping pong balls in those cars despite the harnesses and head restraint. If you get a concussion you shouldn't be doing any driving at that speed.

I'm not a WP MD, just capable of reading the various reports available to anyone with an Internet connection.

I think we can do with one less thread full of armchair neurologists
