distinctive voice and NFL films was just classic stuff. RIP
It's hard to imagine where the NFL would be today without Steve and his Dad.

Just got through reading about his death on profootballtalk.com. Since childhood I've certainly enjoyed watching the programs that is NFL films.

Steve Sabol helped make football what it is today due to his epic films. This man deserves a slot in the HoF.

Terrible loss. I was watching NFL Network when the news initially broke. Rich Eisen was visibly shaken as he read the news that popped up on his teleprompter.
