Don't really know all that much about the man but I'm sure he contributed to the success of the NFL and for that I'm grateful. RIP Mr. Modell and condolenses to your family.

I saw Schefty say on ESPN that Monday Night Football was all Art Modells idea, that was one heck of a good idea. BTW Adam Schefter, that dude just straight brings it, what a journalist.

Sadly he's mostly remembered for leaving Cleveland. One of the pioneers of the NFL.

Yes, the NFL wouldn't be the NFL we know today without this man.
