TMC, FactCheck is quite biased towards Obama and they cite the Tax Policy Center (another left-biased group) analysis of Romney's plan....which has been shown to be speculation rather than fact. Here is a good read from the WSJ which debunks the Dems claims on RomneyHood (robbing from the Middle Class to feed the Rich).

Review & Outlook: The Romney Hood Fairy Tale - WSJ.com (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10000872396390443792604577574910276629448.html?m od=WSJ_hp_mostpop_read)

Wait, now the Tax Policy Center is a "left-biased" group? Wa..wwha...what?

You guys are seriously desperate. I mean absolutely desperate. TPC is a non-partisan group. That means they don't care about affiliation, they care about numbers.

Didn't the WSJ get bought out by Faux New's Murdoch? Would explain this trash.

NC, don't bother. Anything outside of the Fox bubble is "leftist" to SlinginSammy.

How Mitt Romney plans to add $5 trillion to the deficit and expand our military with no offsetting cuts for middle class is completely baffling to me.

I'll read them both, but does that lean more towards the right? I'd love to read something that's fairly neutral.

Is what I use. It's been criticized by both liberals and conservatives, so I figure that's fair game.

Another good article putting to rest the Dems misrepresentation of Romney's tax plan.

Don't Believe Obama's Ads, Romney Is A Middle Class Tax Cutter - Forbes (http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterferrara/2012/08/23/dont-believe-obamas-ads-romney-is-a-middle-class-tax-cutter/)

The Washington Post who overall is somewhere left of the Beijing Times, has been more even-handed in their Pinochio Rating and their Fact Check section over the last year or so.

Yet you claim to have a problem with the guy who did the intial report?

Back to the DNC. Let's talk about that Clinton speech last night. He absolutely wrecked the GOP with that 48 minute speech. I heard somebody comment that the only thing the right wing media were complaining about was its length, and went on to say that if that's the only thing they could find to complain about then he obviously was doing something right. I watched it today at work and wanted to go out and vote for Clinton immediately. I'm still in awe of that speech.

Republicans had Clint. Democrats have Clinton.

Advantage: Democrats

TPC is a joint venture of the Brookings Institute and the Urban Center. If your assertion is that the Brookings Institute is not left-leaning, I would respectfully disagree. I am unfamiliar with Urban Center, but a cursory review of its web-page seems to indicate (to me) it has its origins in LBJ's Great Society legislation.

I make no assertions as to TPC's accuracy but, it seems to me, the assertion that they are "left leaning" is well founded.

Malcolm, good luck finding "neutral" reporting or research. Everyone has a spin/agenda and facts omitted are just as important as facts considered. Read, inquire and seek your own truth. Being informed these days is hard work given the vast amount of information that exists and can be manipulated.
