"Since 1961 … our private economy has produced 66 million private-sector jobs. So what's the jobs score? Republicans 24 million, Democrats 42 (million)."

so, SS, that's a bad arguement. the above statement is true, though it's hard to say specifically who did what. The comparison was specific to the recovery periods of Obama vs. Reagan.

That was before he was against it. Or was it after he was for it. Or was it before he was after it.

This convention is nothing more than energizing the base, I will be surprised if there's any bump for the Ds after this debacle. Might even see Romney's advance get stronger.

SURPRISE!!!!:bump:

Those looking for a convention bump may find what they are looking for in the Gallup daily tracking poll (http://www.gallup.com/poll/113980/Gallup-Daily-Obama-Job-Approval.aspx), which produced good news on Friday for President Barack Obama.
Gallup's last three nights of interviewing of adults, conducted Sept. 4 to 6, shows Obama with a 52 percent approval rating, the highest approval percentage reported for Obama on the Gallup tracking poll since May 2011, just after the killing of Osama bin Laden

Wait, we were losing 750,000 jobs per month, now we're adding private sector jobs at a clip of about 138K this year; 150k the year before. You're telling me that's not an improvement?

Most of the job losses under Obama have been gov't and public sector jobs.

I think you have that wrong.
