I listened to less than 5 minutes of Mike Huckabee talking tonight and I wish he would talk himself off a cliff.
Santorum and Huckabee are some horrible human beings from a moral standpoint. My God.

This says it a little better. I read an article today about the Tea Party which stated that what started out as a movement about reducing government spending and involvement in our lives turned into a chance for the radical Christian Right to come in and tack on issues like outlawing abortion and gay marriage and in turn redefine the tea party all without being labeled as the Radical Christian Right. It's basically the same premise as a shady business man that has screwed customers starting another business under a new name then shortly thereafter resorting to the same business practices that got them their shady reputation.
Speaking of the TeaParty, I saw this picture the other day and thought about this discussion.

Watching John McCains speech now and reminded why I was uneasy about the prospect of him winning the presidency. Much easier to reduce spending on a couple of programs then it is to get out of a war and McCain is a war time president that in spite of our financial crisis wants to keep fighting the world. Romney makes me uneasy to in that respect but he's still a business man at heart and usually war is bad for business. McCain on the other hand was and is a solider and I can now say for certain that Obama was the lesser of two evils in the the 2008 campaign.

The above is apparently an actual quote straight from McCain.
How many other countries has Obama taken us? The only people I here talking about going into Iran is the left accusing the right of wanting to attack Iran. Hell I don't even know Mits stance on Iran.

The part that scares me is when they talk about stuff like the heavy emphasis on "strengthening our military." Aren't they suppose to be the ones to reduce spending? I know Paul Ryan is one of the few members of the GOP with enough guts to even talk about auditing the pentagon and limiting military spending but it looks like every one else is itching to go to war with Iran.
Do they not remember Iraq where they tortured people to get them to say the information they wanted to hear and ended up spending a trillion dollars to essentially kill one evil dictator that did not have any nuclear weapons due to unreliable information that was gathered by torture.
4 years later begging for a second chance and I just can't help but shake the feeling that they're going to repeat the same stupid mistakes.
At this rate I'm starting to wonder if we're better off electing Obama. At least then gay marriage will have a shot and Roe vs Wade won't be overturned by the GOP "activist judges."
Can you post any links of Mit or Ryan itching to go to war with Iran. You can support a strong military and make it stronger by auditing the pentagon. If the Military has a budget of a certain $ amount every dollar of waste found in an audit is another dollar that they can spend on something else.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich said at the Republican presidential debate here Saturday night that they would be willing to go to war to keep Iran from attaining nuclear weapons if all other strategies failed.
Romney said that if "crippling sanctions" and other strategies fail, military action would be on the table because it is "unacceptable" for Iran to become a nuclear power.

In regards to Paul Ryan's speech he performed.

Full of bullshit as I'm sure you already knew. Then again, people don't want to know the truth, they want the person to say what they want to hear.

The script looks good, the acting is immaculate, the substance and seriousness, well that's substantially lacking. He is a good looking man though so that could make up for his deficiencies.
I can't wait for their concession speeches.

That's not what Mit said here is what he siad:
Romney said that if "crippling sanctions" and other strategies fail, military action would be on the table because it is "unacceptable" for Iran to become a nuclear power.
He never said he would go to war with iran he said the option would be on the table. Stop twisting their words to make it what you want.
