Just want to point something out here. Reports have said time and time again that RG3 is holding onto the ball to long. After 1 quarter the Bears have 3 sacks on 5 passing plays. Not saying that RG3 is going to be a bust or won't improve on this but I think it goes to show we shouldn't be so quick to dismiss warning signs.
Great point...and keep in mind, he has been taking a ton of snaps under center which is somewhat new for him

We got lucky with that bomb. Look at the time Cutler has in that pocket. Pass rush??

He looks bad against a strong pass rush. I would see how he does out of the shotgun if he continues to struggle I hope that they don't wait too long like Campbell before deciding "this guy doesn't have it".
How long of a leash do you truly give a talented guy like RG3? Do you keep him in the whole season if he is sucking and hope he improves, or do you maybe bench him if we get out of playoff contention and see if some time on the sidelines would help him? Not hating here on RG3 by any means, just hoping we do things better with him than we did with J.C., by that i mean leaving him in when he shouldn't have been starting anymore...

This is probably the best thing to happen to the team during preseason (injuries notwithstanding).

This is a clinicIf it lights a fire under everybody's hiney, good. I feel like we were getting entirely too complacent, and we haven't done anything yet.

While it is rough in spots I am glad we are having a game like this. Reminds us what we need to do. Just hope Rack will be okay that would really suck.

This is his 2nd preseason game, it is going to take time, probably a whole season to get comfortable. To answer your question RG3 will get a while before he just tossed aside like campbell, we mortgaged the future for him.
