Yeah who knows, maybe she was sitting there for a while not aware of the extent of it. Maybe it's like sitting in the sun for a while, it's not until hours later that you really feel the burn and the pain sets in.
If that is the case than I stand corrected. If she sat on the bench and didn't feel anything yet had 3rd degree burns when she stood up, then I definitely see her winning this case. She'll be well compensated for her injuries.

Actually going back to my wiki chart for burns they have 3rd and 4th degree listed as painless. I am guessing it literally burns up your nerves.

Not only do fans have to take the course if they want to come back to the stadium, they have to pay for the it, too. Costs vary by team. The Detroit Lions and the Atlanta Falcons charge the least at $50, while the New England Patriots charge a league-high $100. When a fan completes the course, ovick's company forwards that information to the club.
