Yea, its been a bit crappy lately.
They all think Stafford and Megatron are taking them to the promiosed land.
If the playoffs are the promised land, sure. But no way they hold a candle to Green Bay, New York Giants, or even the 49ers. Sure they are good, but Id take almost any team in the NFCE except the cowbitches over them this year.

If literally 1/4 of their roster hadn't had trouble with the police in the last year...maybe they could make a nice run.

I agree. He needs to play and play a lot.
I honestly would prefer Griffen to play 3+ quarters as long as the same was true for the starters on the oline. Maybe that breaks some sort of NFL etiquette though.
It doesn't break any etiquette, but how smart is it to risk injury for 3 quarters in your first preseason game? I'm not sure there's much value there either in leaving your #1's in there against 3rd and 4th stringers.

Chances we hear "R...G...3" chants, even though it is in Buffalo?

I look at it like hes less likely to get hurt by playing against 3rd and 4th stringers. Saying theres not much value playing against 3rd and 4th stringers is like saying theres not much value to traning camp or practice. To a vet its probably not all that important, but treating a preseason game like practice and giving your rookies as much time as possible just seems like a good idea to me.
And if he, or anyone else, gets hurt well at least he has 4+ weeks before he has to play in a real game.

No not really, in practice he's going against our #1's on defense. That's far more valuable of an experience than playing against total scrubs.
The risk/reward just isn't there.
