I'm suprised you didn't vote for Roscoe Parrish and Jacobs ;)
Skins Top 2 WR's in 2005?Daseal 02-22-2005, 01:52 AM I'm suprised you didn't vote for Roscoe Parrish and Jacobs ;) SKINSnCANES 02-22-2005, 02:08 AM lol. good call, We trade gardner for a second, get parrish in the second and trade our first round pick and coles to the texans for andre johnson and their first round pick. They move up in the first round, and we use their pick to draft antrel rolle. And then we need to have bigger avatars becuase thats a lot of canes to try and fit, lol offiss 02-22-2005, 03:23 AM so McCants is definitely out? Actually it look's like he's in. offiss 02-22-2005, 03:24 AM Koren Robinson could be an amazing receiver in this league - but he makes Gardner look like Jerry Rice when it comes to drops. You got that right! :laughing2 offiss 02-22-2005, 03:27 AM I put Jacobs and Williamson. For some reason I think that Troy kid will be blazing fast and give us a deep threat, and Jacobs is kinda like coles in a way. I think then we have Thrash and mccants for over the middle guys and still have the other other stretch the field. That was my vote as well SC, I do think we will target another WR in the draft as well, we will find 2 reciever's in this upcoming draft, I believe Williamson, and who know's? Shane 02-22-2005, 05:05 AM I think that we will develop a group of receivers and that there won't be the clear 1-2 designation necessarily. Having said that, Taylor Jacobs is one, yes. I like drafting Troy Williamson, but I don't think he is likely to start on day one. I think that we will sign a free agent who will be the other starter. Perhaps it will be Derrick Mason, if he doesn't demand a bank breaking contract, or Andre Davis, if we can bring him aboard. SmootSmack 02-22-2005, 12:07 PM Actually it look's like he's in. How do you figure? I think DCopper had a good point in another thread that the Redskins have known for a while about Coles' desire to leave and they planned on letting McCants go anyway. He's not a receiver technically but I'd put Cooley up there MTK 02-22-2005, 12:10 PM Gibbs always mentions Jacobs and Thrash when he talks about the WRs and the omission of McCants is always telling. I wouldn't be surprised if he's still outta here regardless of the developments the last few days. The WR corps are in for a bigger overhaul than we initially thought! offiss 02-22-2005, 02:11 PM As stated by other's if we draft 1 or 2 reciever's they won't be ready on opening day McCant's may be in the dog house, but he is experienced and is a favorite target of Ramsey's, if Coles and Gardner are gone I would be surprised if McCant's followed them out the door, neither Coles or Gardner played special's so that won't hurt McCant's in fact if player's come back from those possible trades who can play special's that just may help McCant's, I don't feel Gibb's is givin up on McCant's to the point he would refuse to use him McCant's isn't a bad guy and he is a supporter of Gibb's from day one, only the future will tell. celts32 02-22-2005, 02:50 PM I voted Jacobs & Williams out of what's listed, but I would be very happy with Derick Mason & Williams assuming Mason's salary demands are not rediculous. I think it would be very risky to depend on Jacobs as anything more than a #3 this year. He has barely played in his 2 years as it is, so i don't see how you can just throw him in as the #2. |
