I've read some good reports lately on Gettis, LeRibeus, and Compton. They all obviously have a long way to go, but it's nice to hear they are improving.
I saw a stat yesterday (I forget where though) that the Redskins have drafted the most OL in the NFL since 2010.. Combine that with the stat that we've drafted the most players in the past 2 drafts it seems like there is a plan to build depth..

In addition to the good reports on Gettis, LeRibeus and Compton I am also that I haven't seen where Hurt has regressed or peaked. It would be nice to have him as a solid backup that we could count on if needed.

As we all know art is subjective, just take a look at the supposed "top 10 films of all time" list, most of which were released well before we were born. As for any given Sunday, I thought it was mediocre when I first watched it, that's because I was way to young to understand the behind the scene politics and intricacies of playing, coaching, and owning a team in the NFL.

Fast forward 15 years later, now that I've matured, and became more educated about the greatest league to ever form, I see the movie in a completely different light, it's remarkable how deep he went into the psychological aspects and struggles that everyone has to endure, the astronomical amount of pressure that's put on everyone involved. In my opinion it's arguably the greatest football movie ever made, although the longest yard and remember the Titans were great ones too.

Rudy, Brians Song, Radio - all three trump any given sunday - imo of course

LeRibeus has some real dirtbag potential.
(i mean that as a positive, dirtbag like a baby hog)

I'm kind of surprised he isn't starting the first preseason game for us..as in over Gettis..

He's a LG, Gettis is a RG. Different footwork, responsibilities, etc. He will get plenty of reps out there with Hurt running with the starters.

really. I see a major difference between a Guard and a Center or a Guard and a tackle, hell I see the major difference between a LT and a RT, but is there really a difference between a LG and a RG? I say the only difference is the side your on. Please tell me how much differently they are cause I don't buy it. I'm giving that a Seth Meyers Really?!?

Im going to say that there are two reasons why someone would be better suited playing one or the other.........
first - i think it depends on who you are playing next to, like if the LT is the dominant force on the line you may want to put a certain individual at LG if he is a weak link - so that way you dont have a right side that is totally vulnerable.
second - unless everyone is pulling right or left on a certain play it might be difficult for a right gaurd who is used to going forward and right to go forward and left - the footwork is all different and the direction - like a right handed person throwing left handed ,,,that being said I think most gaurds can change sides if need be -

Would anyone liked to have seen the Skins make the move the Chargers made to solidify depth for their OL?
