If everyone was healthy the line was still very questionable. I think the front office/Shanahan puts a value on wr's over o-line and that makes no sense to me. This is why I don't see this team winning more than 4-6 games. A shaky o-line and a rookie QB is a bad combination. Next off season this MUST BE the number one priority.
Not sure why people think Shanahan doesn't value the line. How many guys has he drafted now since he took over?

Damn, I think you are right.
Question marks at LG and RT, both out with injuries, our RG isn't very good.
I can depend on TW and WM, but I don't know man..... we need to develop at least 2 OL into starters that are inexperienced and not very high draft picks.

Kory Lich was just a minor clean-up procedure. Don't overreact.
Yes, he had a big injury, but this was not a major surgery. He should be ready Week 1.
With that said, we should definitely have a backup plan.
We've always had O-line issues, which is why these immobile QBs we've had got destroyed. RGIII's running ability should help hide some of the weaknesses on the line in front of him. Sure, a solid line would be ideal for a rookie QB, but with the state of our line, we have the best-possible QB to pair with that weak line.
I think we'll need Leribeus to step up. Compton has some promise too. We did not completely ignore the O-line in the offseason. I'd still like to see us make a deal for a solid RT though. What's the status with that Raiders trade rumor?

Now this is more like it! Makes me feel we are in mid-season form already! Instead of arguing over politics and religion, we can now focus our attention toward the falling sky that is our offensive line! :)

Your smoking crack if you think Kory L will be ready week 1.

I don't think that the sky is falling. It can't fall because it already fell last season and it hasn't been put back up.
Jammal Brown is done. Believe it! He was told that he had to stay healthy to make the team and, unfortunately, he hasn't been able to do that.
I doubt that we have an immediate answer to our RT problem on the roster and we have a very valuable Franchise QB to protect and develop. Some promising young NFL QB's have never reached their potential because they took too many hits early in their careers. That's why I think we'll try hard to make a trade for a starting RT.
Kory L. might be OK. Time will tell.

I heard he could be back in time for the Colts game, but they're going to hold him out anyway.

Oh nice...drug accusations from Chico Little. I don't think the sky is falling. I was the first one to point out it was just a routine cleaning procedure, not full-scale surgery. Try reading for once.
