Can he play RT?
Redskins Talking Trade with Raiders?Hog1 07-30-2012, 10:26 PM Can he play RT? 30gut 07-30-2012, 10:28 PM No he is not!! Cooley for Barnes would be a very stupid trade. I've seen plenty of Raider games and Barnes is lucky to be on a team, he is horrible. I would much rather have Polumbus or Smith in there. Barnes just flat out sucks!!Yes he is!! lol I never said anything about Cooley for Barnes. But not only did Barnes play 16 games (which automatically makes him better then Jammal Brown). But based on Profootball Focus Barnes graded out better then Brown. Again its not saying much, but it is what it is. -httr FRPLG 07-30-2012, 10:30 PM MW for Cooley? Craziness. Ill drive him there if thats the deal. They'd be bonkers to do thst SFREDSKIN 07-30-2012, 10:50 PM Yes he is!! lol I never said anything about Cooley for Barnes. Might as well had read The Onion. About as accurate. Very unflattering. And the article mentions the same penalty-prone behavior that you listed. mooby 07-30-2012, 11:20 PM To be clear, that's the author's own speculation. And ridiculous speculation at that. He and I had some words about this. He feels at some point the Steelers will have no choice but to trade Wallace for something like a 4th/5th and the Redskins are waiting to pounce. He's completely off-base. Bleacher Report makes some good hires (like Russell Baxter), but then they give a guy like this (who is an experienced media guy) that "Featured Columnist" title and it's all for naught. But the MO there was clearly to go for the pageviews, and he succeeded I feel like Bleacher Report has become the new PFT. Occasionally they have good insight, but if you hear something too good to be true from them it most likely is. I love Cooley, but I'd give him and a 5th up for Wallace in a heartbeat. Chico23231 07-30-2012, 11:22 PM Going into preseason again talking about Right Tackle play and question marks makes me wonder why we didnt draft a Tackle in the 3rd round? We coulda still drafted Compton and Gettis, but seemed RT was more of a priority than McRib at C. This one is on Shanny if we going into the season with JB injured. SmootSmack 07-30-2012, 11:23 PM So 1. Allen is now saying there are no trade talks at all. 2. I inquired, and there was a conversation but it did not involve any significant players. Just some minor players and late draft picks being tossed around as part of everyday conversation between GMs. A "totally inconsequential" conversation is what I've been told artmonkforhallofamein07 07-30-2012, 11:35 PM Thanks ss |
