Suspended 6 month jail sentence, and a fine.

Not sure what the league's response will be

So suspended jail sentence does mean he's not going to jail..?

2-4 game suspension is my guess.

Correct. Unless he breaks stipulations in his judgement or probation.(if he's given it)

Sorry I should clarify he was found guilty of reckless driving, not DWI

I'll update the thread title

Our secondary is disappearing!

No Merriweather for a few games. No Minnifield at all.

Jackson and Williams better show up big time.

LOL....Minnifield was a UDFA and never played a down for us.

Meriweather needs more reck in his driving. Then he won't be reckless.

What's so funny? We were all hoping he'd make some contributions and we were expecting him to make the team.

It doesn't matter who we're losing, we're thin at both talent and bodies in the secondary. If this continues, we're going to actually need Reed Doughty to play.

I'm just going to call it now. Next offseason we're going to be looking at this secondary and say "WTF was the front office thinking?"

Not that it matters to much. At this point it's all about getting better not making a Super Bowl run. Still I think we'll look back at this unit as a disaster not all to different from the Cowboys woes last season. Then again if they get a Steelers like pass rush going they'll be able to cover up the problems in the defensive backfield.
