JGisLordOfTheRings 07-08-2012, 11:37 AM Just bought a .22lr Sig Mosquito at the CET yesterday. Gonna go to the range today and pound 300 rounds through it. Sexy pistol, really got it to teach my girl how to shoot cuz my .45 freaks her the f out, lol. http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/8415/20120708112844.jpg mlmdub130 07-08-2012, 12:05 PM heres a few of mine http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab307/mlmdub130/guns.jpg my personal favorite had to be the taurus .38 revolver, that thing is so much fun to load and shoot, i really want to get an old ivory grip western style 6 shooter next. but my remmington .22 is a close second, i have 3 30 round banana clips for it. get it oiled up and put out 90 rounds in about 30 seconds with little to no recoil, good times. then theres the mossburg pump the first gun i ever owned, and i also have a .45 and a .22 sig. i haven't shot anything in a while, we used to go shooting in culpepper on a buddy's family land. for me shooting out in the open is way better than being at an indoor range. does anyone know if any good outdoor ranges in va? mlmdub130 07-08-2012, 12:09 PM Just bought a .22lr Sig Mosquito at the CET yesterday. Weird about it being loud, thats one of the reasons I got her a .22, lol. Haven't fired it yet but I plan on hitting the country with some friends and putting 300-400 rounds through it this weekend. CANT WAIT! Love that remington .22, I want one! I dont know of any outdoor ranges, at least not around the richmond area. I'm like you, much prefer to be out in the elements when shooting, seems more natural. mlmdub130 07-09-2012, 06:17 PM I thought it was a great price for SIG quality, 330$. CANT WAIT! yeah i actually scored mine for right around $300 as well. i was kind of blown away that you could get a sig for such a low price. i have actually only fired mine twice, but it was louder than i was expecting. it did not have much recoil, just a little more pop than i thought it would, once my wife heard it she got a little freaked out and we didn't have any hearing protection since i didn't think we'd need it. let me know what you think after you shoot it this weekend. mlmpetert 07-11-2012, 10:39 AM Pretty rad: Pro-gun group uses Chicago firearms buyback program to fund shooting camp for kids | Fox News (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/07/10/pro-gun-group-uses-chicago-firearms-buyback-program-to-fund-nra-shooting-camp/) JGisLordOfTheRings 07-11-2012, 01:41 PM Pretty rad: Pro-gun group uses Chicago firearms buyback program to fund shooting camp for kids | Fox News (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/07/10/pro-gun-group-uses-chicago-firearms-buyback-program-to-fund-nra-shooting-camp/) Agreed! That is pretty freakin awesome! Glad to a group out there not only advocating the training but safety in the use of guns with kids. RedskinRat 07-11-2012, 02:54 PM Mega Stun Gun (http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2012/07/mega-stun-gun/) .....the new pulse gun is a lightweight device supposed to be an improvement over the existing — and often limited — stun guns. The weapons’ effects doesn’t last that long, allowing the victim to recover as soon as the flow of electricity stops. The Pentagon now wants an improved device that could disable the enemy and render him unconscious for several minutes. Want one! |
