Your views as you have presented them are...extreme.

and no one else has ever presented extreme views with either players, the NFLPA, the NFL, or Owners? Trolls are people who are new and don't offer anything of value, try to start fights on topics that have nothing to do with the thread, and eventually leave and don't come back.

If thats me then I've been fooling myself.

and extreme views? Simply cause I don't like the fact an ex Dallas Cowboy player is announcing Redskin games? Ok.

I can't imagine the logistical nightmare of trying to match up national broadcast teams so god forbid nobody is doing a game of a former rival.

Let's take a quick look at this. So basically Aikman shouldn't do any NFC East games. Daryl Johnston no NFC East either. How about Brian Billick? No NFC North games, and no AFC North games. Cris Collinsworth no AFC North for him.

Can you see how ridiculous this would be?

So what your telling me is they can't let Aikman announce Dallas home games? Away games are a different story. But FOX has to higher enough announcers for every game and your telling me it would be a logistical nightmare to have the local announcers announce their ball games only? They still have to have the same amount of announcers if anything it would make their jobs easier knowing that each home game is covered by announcer from the local cities.

What I really wonder is how often was Aikman announcing for the Skins and an ex Redskin announcing for some other team?

larry michael is like a slightly more advanced forrest gump, w the redskins taking the place of his "jenny".

i'd rather see buck martinez in larry michael's role

Aikman works for FOX, not the Cowboys. You do understand that, right?

You're just not making much sense here. Sorry I'm really not sure what else to say.

There is a really good site, I think its been linked here in the path, of how games are broadcast between the networks and teams. It has a nice map, as well, of broadcast teams each week.

idk, make a spreadsheet and find out. sounds pretty hard to me...

8 games. All the home teams would have an ex player announcing their games with an unbiased announcer with them. Aikman has an unbiased announcer with him. They basically have what your asking right now just let Aikman announce all home Dallas games. Dallas comes to Fed Ex then our announcers announce the game. Not that difficult.

As an example I'd also throw in how Hockey does their announcing. When the Caps go away we still get to hear the local announcers for the most part. It's very rare they have different annoncers doing their game. FOX sould take note how Comcast handles their local teams events.
