Dan Snyder's Official Team Bio Is A Tour De Force Of Bullshit (http://deadspin.com/5918454/dan-snyders-official-team-bio-is-a-masterpiece-of-bull****tery)
Thought many of you would get a laugh out of this, and it was pretty comical watching this guy rip some of the stuff in the bio.
Mind you, this wasn't posted to bash on Snyder because I've been happy with his involvement (or lack thereof) with the Redskins since Shanny's hiring.

Blah blah blah. I fnd the sentiment surrounding Snyder both tiresome and irrelevant.

It is pretty funny. Bottom line is i feel he's been one of the worst owners in the NFL. Living proof that just because someone has alot of money and thinks they know football, they should not be qualified to own an NFL franchise.
I hope the Redskins improve this year but i think like many others, the team will never truly be competent year in and year out until Snyder is gone....

Well, I've always been one to bash Snyder ever since the disastrous 2000-2001 season. So I checked out said Danny Snyder bio at redskins.com (link (http://www.redskins.com/team/staff/daniel-snyder/fd1d5d4f-cae1-43b7-ac59-dac8c1e6db89)) before commenting.
Of course Snyder's bio extrapolates the positives and minimizes the negatives. Long stories how Snyder is a huge skins fan, and his charitable work. And that's cool. The little tidbits of the team's performance that are mixed in are laughable as the OP suggests. But actually I thought the business history was more bash-able than the team's on-field performance.
Snyder hit it big with a telemarketing company. And sold it to a hapless French firm right before the authorities in Florida dropped the hammer on Snyder's company. Granted, at least Snyder didn't just inherit his riches, like a certain Mara did. Snyder made his millions. But add Six Flags to Snyder's resume and well, again the bio emphasizes the positive not the negative.
BTW - I'm extremely happy with Snyder letting football people run the FO now. And Snyder keeping the Skins franchise one of the most valuable in the sports world, even if he and Cerrato did a lot to hurt the franchise with inept team management. If Snyder truly stays hands-off the football side of the business, that performance should turn around, and I'll be one of the fans immediately giving Snyder credit for that, for what that's worth.

You mean that Snyder's bio on the web site of a company he owns is uber-flattering? Now there's a shocker.

Thank you for your new and relevant opinion on this groundbreaking subject matter. With excellent and informative posts such as yours this subject matter will continue to be relevant for years to come, further perpetuating this as a "story" in the "news cycle." It is my hope, that if we keep saying his name long enough, that this story will never fade away, which is what we all clearly want.
EDIT: I should also thank NC_Skins, for whom this entire thread wouldn't be possible without. One thing I will never associate you with is the term "beating, raping, and murdering a horse, and then tying it to the back of your off-road pickup, and proceeding to drag it cross-country until there's nothing left but a trail of blood and guts stretching for thousands of miles on-end." Your opinion on Dan Snyder aside, thank you for keeping this excellent discussion ongoing.
