Are owners allowed on this list? Cause Jack Kent Cooke should be on that list.

I agree with that completely.

Lavar Arrington? Might just be me but i never really thought he was all that but i try not to remember the most of the 90's and especially the early 2000's (Lavar 2000-05)

Yeah, when I think of Lavar Arrington, I think of wasted potential.

I'm also surprised Beathard and Pettibone weren't already on the original list. I know Bugel wasn't eligible because he was still coaching when it came out.

I would have definitely replaced Arrington with someone else. Randy Thomas maybe?

I'd even make an exception for active players and give it to London Fletcher. He deserves that honor more than anyone else and more than Arrington.

I think it's a good list. You could make a case for Lavar not to be on there based on the way he left/wasted potential/dispute with Snyder, but it's still a good list nonetheless.

Lavar Arrington invalidates the rest of list. He was meaningless to us making good plays for us when we stunk. And he was a liability to the Skins when we became good under Gibbs 2.0 in 2005, and Lavar couldn't stand being a team player.

It's a disgrace that Lavar was named one of the 80 greatest Redskins. He simply wasn't, strictly because of his selfishness and stupidity.

Sure you can vote Lavar in on talent. Same way you can vote Albert Haynesworth in as one of the 80 greatest Redskins. Fat Albert deserves to be on that list about as much as Lavar Arrogant does, IMO.

I must admit that i bashed Lavar after he signed with the Giants and talked shit about the Redskins and Dan Snyder. Since he started posting his columns on the WP you can see he has matured, mended the fences and become likeable again.

Instead of:
LaVar Arrington
Jon Jansen

Would've like to see:
Darryl Grant
Ron Saul

but it's splitting hairs, good list overall.

Arrington did have some pretty good years. He made the pro bowl during a three year stretch every season. I just look at the way he played on the field. I was surprised to see Jon Jansen make it. He was good and went to some pro bowls for us but I don't see where he was among the greatest Redskins. I would have liked to see Jean Fugett or Curtis Jordan make the list.
