The Eagles will not need a back. Please remember that Corel Buckhalter and Bruce Perry were place on IR at the beginning of the year. Buckhalter in many eyes is the best back. Watch them go after another reciever and maybe O line.

Buckhalter is an unrestricted free agent, do you think they might let him go considering his injury history? Didn't he miss two of the last three years with a knee injury?

To be honest all teams have players that can make an impact in the right system. Just because a player was a huge impact in one system does not mean that the same will apply in another, especially after a few years of aging. Football players are not like wine. I know that somebody is going to throw T.O. in my face, but he left one west coast offense for another. Imagine if he would have been placed somewhere like Baltimore, Tampa Bay or Washington. Would he still have been a huge impact?

I agree they do not need another back. I forsee them replacing some of the age that they have on their team. I still believe that we should do the same.

Just a quick point the Bengles game was our absolute worst point where Gibbs finally benched Brunell but hey.

There was one other thing unrelated if the Cowboys are interested in Pryce are they not going to a 3-4 defence and as welll as his cap figure and injury worries isn't because Denver are switching to a 3-4 system and he doesn't fit ?

I would let him go.

Even if they keep him I'm not sure how much they can rely on him at least early in the season. It normally take a player a year to fully recover from a knee injury.

The Eagles love Westbrook so assuming they get him re-signed the chances of them bringing in someone like Alexander is probably slim.

I still think they would greatly benefit from having someone who can gain the tough yards late in games, but hey, I won't complain if they don't bring in someone like Alexander, that's for sure.

As for the Eagles, the bigger worry than a back, IMO, is Muhammed. It would effectively give them two No. 1 receivers. Yes, he is old. Yes, he will be expensive - but he (more than Alexander I think) makes their offense more potent and by spreading the defense even more, makes westbrook a better runner.

the dark is pretty scary...and ghosts, those things just jump out at you...

oh wait...not those fears...

quite frankly, with the defense we have, there is no reason to fear any offense in this league, even if guys like Plax and Shaun Alexander jump ship. we have proven that we can hang with the best of them.

what i fear most is that our offense stays grounded in the low 30s, high 20s like last year, and we see another 6-10 year.

I heard Alexander might go to the Dolphins............

One scenario............Moss to the Cowboys.....doesn't that smell like a Jerry Jones move.......especially with a new owner coming to the Vikings and wanting to improve their public image..............
