what kind of say do owners and the league have with any player endorsements and marketing?whatever they can negotiate into the player's contract. Luck has good representation, he won't sign with that language in the deal.

Not sure if it matters for Luck -- doesn't look like he has much personality anyway. No matter how much Luck wins, I'd bet RG3 makes 10 times as much in endorsements. Kind of like Brady / Manning. Brady has played in more Super Bowls, but Manning has been in more Super Bowl commercials.

Personality:
RG3 >> Luck
P.Manning >> Brady

You don't hear about it often, but I would say that it's probably a bigger issue than many think.

Glad he got help.

Honestly there are many gamers out there that will risk a whole lot to keep that fix. Online gaming has really changed our culture

Many felt Colt Brennan was a steal in the 6th round of the 2008 draft for the Redskins. But he ended as another failed prospect draft pick of Vinny Cerratto. Not saying that he still can't make it, but if he was going to amount to something he would be at least a 3rd string QB on an NFL team by now. He came from a WAC conference that didn't have many good defenses. Although his stats were off the charts, it's the lack of competition that he faced that contributed to his success in college. In those regards, Brennan is similar to Case Keenum.

The article said he's 28..same age as Brandon Weeden!

NFL -- Donovan McNabb says chances of return 80-90 percent - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8111276/nfl-donovan-mcnabb-says-chances-return-80-90-percent)

Quarterback Donovan McNabb says there's "an 80 to 90 percent chance" he'll play this season.

"I do want to play," McNabb told "NBC SportsTalk" on Thursday. "The most important thing is I have about three teams I'm looking at. ... We won't name those three teams."

I say there is a 99.99999% chance he doesn't end up on a NFL team. Why won't this asshat just go away? I'd rather hear Favre drama than him.
