Nothing necessarily shows definitive guilt on the part of any particular player (as I've been told), but it does reflect a cavalier attitude toward an issue the Saints were repeatedly told to resolve

I just noticed that Talib's charges were dropped. I am sure it has been discussed, but I cant see where. Anyway, if the rumors are true, than we should see some action soon.

Individuals don't get to claim they were the best in any given year b/c their team won and that simply wasn't the point I was making. Your "Team" wins the championship, your "Team" is the best that year. Period.I think you can recognize a Championship without resorting to absolutism. We already know that the best team on the field on any given day won't always win.

Having a playoff is a horrible way to answer the question of which team is the best. But when we're trying to determine the best way to select two teams to play in the super bowl, it sure beats a complicated poll formula.

Boy the evidence the NFL shared this morning re: their evidence against the Saints...hoo boy...this will be new thread worthy when it all comes out.

I heard that the bounty on Favre was actually 35 grand instead of 10, but if what you're saying is true and we'll know about it soon, I can't believe the group of players that got suspended came out with the statement they did, that the NFL's evidence was a crock. That's some huge arrogance on their part, never mind the fact that they thought they could get away with it.

Word out of Philly is they've added Atogwe, no confirmation yet though
