Of course not. Neither does "studying the playbook." Since when has reading a book ever taught someone how to do their job right?

JoeRedskin 06-12-2012, 01:39 PM The only thing "knowing the playbook" or "knowing the offense" does is allow a QB to demonstrate his natural talent or lack thereof more quickly. Tannenhill shouldn't need to think "Okay, he called a Skyjet tiger blue 91 - who is my primary receiver on that?" Rather, he will know the primary and secondary w/out thinking and focus on "Just Playing". The only question will be "Does he have the ability to speed up his game?" I would suggest we will know relatively quickly whether or not Mr. Tannenhill has got what it takes to succeed in the pros. Not saying he must have an Andy Dalton year to be a success, just thinking that if he "Blaine Gabbert's", the Dolphins may have to think long and hard about Barkley next year. Rex will be available at that point. He could teach Tanne how not to do it, while selling random tickets to Gator lovers. los panda 06-12-2012, 04:38 PM He hasnt played a down and you already have that figured out?between 2000-2011, 12 of 18 qb drafted in the top ten are starters today. odds are in his favor, but i smell trash Giantone 06-12-2012, 06:04 PM Professional book reader??? ...it's called being an editor. REDSKINS4ever 06-13-2012, 05:33 AM Just read that Ocho Cinco signed with Miami. They're so hard up for attention, and wr's. We knew that Chad Johnson was going to sign with another team soon. He wasn't going to be a free agent receiver for very long. Lotus 06-13-2012, 08:05 AM Jason Campbell now has a football camp. He wasn't going to be a free agent receiver for very long. Right, because he's so highly coveted. Good thing Miami locked him down into that long term one year deal. |
