First, I'd like to thank all the men and women who have served this great nation. Thank You for all you have done.

We are heading down to Nags Head for a few days then coming home Monday morning for the traditional pool opening at our club. I made our daughter take swimming leason over the winter and she is really excited to show off her new swimming skills.

Well done, FD.
I echo the thanks. My father is an Army vet who served in combat, as were other generations in my family.
Thank you to any of you who served.
Stay safe everyone, the drunks get stupid this weekend annually.

I'll echo those thanks as well, my little brother will be getting deployed in early July and it's made me a lot more conscious and thankful of the effort given by service members nationwide to protect us. Much thanks to anyone here who has served, or any of their family members too.
Definitely be safe too, holidays also serve as an opportunity for people to act even more stupid than normal.
As far as my plans go, I have a three day weekend but no ideas yet. I'm probably just going to see what my friends are up to and go from there.

You're welcome. :food-smil
Having all the kids over Sunday for a barbecue.
Other than that I'll be doing yard work and wasting as much time as possible playing EVE and World of tanks.

Remember, the Memorial Day holiday is in place to remember those who died while in combat while serving you and I. Veterans' Day is the day to celebrate, thank, and congratulate all veterans who are still with us.
That said, we cannot thank our veterans enough.

I'm headed to Annapolis to get disgustingly wasted...and eat a crab or two.

I'll be memorializing our troops by moving house. Sweating, bleeding and suffering.
Having some friends over tonight to celebrate the wife's b-day. The rest of the weekend looks like chillin' on the deck soaking up some sun. Didn't get the boat in in time for this weekend, so I'll be watching everyone else tear up the lake.

You see pics like this of men waiting to storm the beach on D Day and wonder how many never made it home. Its amzaing how many actually had a smile on their face. I'd be changing my underwear.
