MO Senate race went from a GOP slam dunk to a hail merry pass. I can't wait for the polls. The only hope for the GOP is for this fool to withdraw and have a replacement named by 5pm tomorrow.
This moron was on Hannity this afternoon. Hannity threw this guy several life-preservers and he still couldn't muster a rational thought or defense of what he said (not that there is any). Then this clown starts to tell Hannity he's staying in the race.....Hannity essentially told him he could cost the GOP the Senate seat and possibly lose MO for Romney if he stays in. He backed off a little and I suspect before tomorrow at 5pm he'll bow out.

Whatever guys.. don't bother trying to understand what he actually meant nor what I was trying to say. Ignorant position or not at least he doesn't roll with the standard logical inconsistency most pro-lifers do about rape/incest. Better put: his position may be wrong but at least it is consistently wrong. The lack of logical consistency within the articulated positions of our esteemed politicians is a distinct blight on our system. Across the political board.I get where you're coming from.

Do you even read the links you post? For someone "down the middle", this is complete BS. At the top of the website it's tagline is "Real Liberal Politics....". The link mentions several times "Virginia Republican Committee", implying this is a statewide organization.....complete crap. This is the "Greene County" Republican newsletter which is so far out in the sitcks in VA, I've never heard of it. Their vote totals for GOP primary were under 1000.
Your credibility meter is below Empty.
:laughing-
Dude, you blow anything I say out of proportion and infer things that aren't there. Is that how you normally encounter people? I posted the link to this article, and I made a back woods hick comment. I said nothing in regards to the article. I just felt it was amusing.
edit: I don't think they imply this is statewide in the slightest. They clearly state the Virginia Republican Committee is a newsletter and even mention it SEVERAL times. Question is, did YOU read it...lol
but a Virginia Republican Committee newsletter
In the Virginia Republican Committee newsletter, there is nothing
According to the newsletter, President Obama
and after the Virginia Republican Committee newsletter,
The Virginia Republican Committee newsletter was published in March

This guy just might be stupid enough to stay in the race and it looks like the moneyman, Karl Rove, has pulled (http://www.politico.com/blogs/burns-haberman/2012/08/crossroads-pulls-out-of-missouri-after-akin-comments-132572.html) all resource from MO race. It's looking pretty ugly right now and the sharks (http://www.politico.com/blogs/burns-haberman/2012/08/romney-reportedly-urges-akin-to-reconsider-132601.html) are circling, as they should. Nibble nibble.

I agree there. I know there is a not-so-small current of ignorance on this in society but among Drs one would think they'd be pretty up on the occurrence rates on rape-pregnancy. My guess is he, like others, heard this from someone at some point and it had become ingrained in his psyche since he was so predisposed to believe it.
I think I've found the source of these doctors he heard from.

I don't think this Akin dust-up will cost Romney MO or the election, necessarily. I'm not saying that it won't, just not convinced that it will. #brevity

Akin is a prime example it's so hard to be a Liberterian supporting the GOP. They just continue to **** up royally on social issues. Focus on the economy you idiots and leave everything else alone.
Though it's not like some good isn't coming out of this as it seems to be softening the pro-life stance of a lot of conservatives.

The problem isn't Akin, it's the entire Republican party. They pushed through 100s of abortion bills. They couldn't care less about the economy and that's the truth. Just look at all the bills they've sponsored.

Ironically enough I kind of agree with you. I guess right now I'm hoping that they've talked about controlling and reducing spending so much that theres no way they can get elected and not follow through with it unless their goal is to commit political suicide. Though this issue brings to light a very simple statement in regards to the GOP as best described by John McCain's daughter.
