Think about if our federal gov just ran the major functions of gov. and the states did the rest. We would not have this problem in DC.

I'd rather kiss Rodie O'Donnell that watch one of those. :smashfrea dmek25 10-24-2012, 07:20 AM i watched the entire thing CRedskinsRule 10-24-2012, 08:10 AM Why would these guys (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commission_on_Presidential_Debates) invite anyone that isn't an elephant or a donkey? Exactly right. From the Wiki In 1988, the League of Women Voters withdrew its sponsorship of the presidential debates after the George H.W. Bush and Michael Dukakis campaigns secretly agreed to a "memorandum of understanding" that would decide which candidates could participate in the debates, which individuals would be panelists (and therefore able to ask questions), and the height of the podiums. The League rejected the demands and released a statement saying that they were withdrawing support for the debates because "the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter."[8] That's sums up what I felt about the debates even before they started. EXCLUSIVE: CIA operators were denied request for help during Benghazi attack, sources say | Fox News (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/10/26/cia-operators-were-denied-request-for-help-during-benghazi-attack-sources-say/) Daseal 10-26-2012, 04:45 PM Another reason the electoral college should get ditched. The fact that ~200,000 people in Montana have the same weight as ~800,000 people in California is ridiculous. Secondly, 3 members of the republican electoral college came out and said even if Romney won their district's they'd vote for Ron Paul? That is unacceptable to me -- if the people vote, you respect their wishes. Get rid of the electoral college already!
