RGIII is pretty thin. Would you take the trade-off of increased heft/durability for less mobility?

No. He's going to dominate because of his speed. (and arm...and brain...)

He's gonna take some shots...inevitably. However, from the reel I've watched he does have strong pocket presence, which should only improve. Hopefully those shots are minimized dramatically.
Oline better step up bigtime...this is where Mike needs to work his magic.

i think its going to be big for him learning ways to avoid uneeded shots by sliding/getting to the ground or out of bounds

He's 220, could probably put on 10 lbs of muscle without it changing his game any. I'm not really worried about it.

The guy is a little on the smaller side but he has a solid frame and there are plenty of qb's in the nfl that are his size or smaller and they survive. I think we are questioning his durability because most of us can't stop thinking of him as Mike Vick. He isn't he is going to be his own man. Lets see how he plays the nfl game before we start worring about him getting injured.

Getting injured is a legitimate concern for any QB.
And if the offense is gonna contain some designed QB runs he's gonna have to learn to get down.
For as much as Cam is praised for being a power runner and running over people, he's very situationally aware about when and where to fight for more yards or the get down.
Griffin is gonna have to learn when and how to slide/get down.

Listened the presser don't get the vibe that we'll be run the option.
I think Mike S. was just applauding Griffiin's skillset.
Griffin has the speed to really challenge defenses on the perimeter which can be done through Mike S. offense without running the option.
