Right now there is no proof that Seau killed himself cause of too many hits to the head. I know the media is going to jump on this but how about we let the facts come out before we start blaming this on head trauma.

After 19 years of playing in the NFL, plus add a college and high school football career, I am fairly certain they are going to find brain trauma. Now is there a definitive test to prove this trauma led to his depression? Probably not. But the growing amount of similar cases is leading to a probable trend.

Loved that man.

He was one of the players that really got me into football when I was younger...

I agree.

I don't think there's anything wrong with tossing that out there right now, considering how long he played like you said. In fact I think it would be a little naive to think it's not a strong possibility.

Seau is the 8th Charger to die from the '94 team.

That's crazy.

Yeah i agree theres too much money involved. However if a few non-BCS states banned highschool / little leauge football that could create a big issue for the NFL.

IMO what will see is raised awareness of parents. Parents will wait until at least High School to let their kids play full contact football. I don't think an elementary school child should be exposed to repeated blows to the head that full contact football creates.

Damn, really tough watching Marcellus Wiley break down and cry multiple times just now on NFL Live

But that may not be the actual reason he killed himself, even though the media will spin it that way. If he had head trauma that was bothering him then there's no way he could've played LB in the NFL til he was 40.

He really must've had some serious issues to make two attempts on his life. Feel real sorry for his kids. I believe one plays football in HS.
