That is a good point. One of the best things to do to the wide 9 is gash it up the middle.
The wide 9 is kind of like communism. Great in theory, terrible in real life.

Communism's theory is flawed because it does not do justice to how the species homo sapiens actually behaves in reality. Rather, it ignores human psychology completely.

I've read lots of good articles on this guy.... sounds like he is a powerfull runner who can be used at both HB and FB

I just watched highlights of this kid on youtube. He reminds me of Ricky Ervins and Thomas Jones. He's going to be effective in our backfield.

6th round pick and in our system, all RBs Shanahan pick seem to do well. So I like the pick & he'll be good in our rotation with Helu/?Hightower.
But (1) He's not a big guy (5'11" - 219 - BJacobs was 6'4" - 260), (2) He needs to work on his bench, (3) fumbling every 47 touches is a concern. But for a 6th round pick, he'll be fine for the timeshare of the RB by committee.
