So when are they supposed to decide/rule on Player Discipline for the Bounty Scandal? seems like it just keeps getting pushed to the side.

An hour before the draft to give the Saints enough time to take this into consideration for the draft.

I remember reading some really negative stories about Benson and his granddaughter around the time of the recent Super bowl in Dallas, Tx.
About how mad Benson and his granddaughter were that there was no free limo waiting at the airport for her. That they had to pay for their own ride to the hotel how a few other usual free perks were not waiting for them. they complained up a storm.
The sense of entitlement of some of these cheap Billionaires is amazing.
Now it turns out the grand daughter is getting cut off.
Combine this with the ugly arm twisting that is going on in Minnesota for a new stadium for the Vikings.....the NFL owners are an ugly bunch of greedy SOB's.

The last month has painted a nasty picture of the Saints organization and their rapid rise to the NFL elite. Clearly they have been a good team, but all this can't help but cast doubt in my mind about their entire franchise. Also, my gut feeling is we haven't scratched the surface of this allegation. Why wire tap the coaches & risk criminal misconduct -- not to use it? I'm certain there's more to this story, however it's hard to predict whether we will learn further details about events from a decade ago

It is also interesting that both scandals are intricately connected to the Redskins -- with Greg Williams and Haslett.. Glad we seem to have escaped both scandals.

Any chance Brees bolts?

If he's smart, he will. The franchise is a mess and he can only get taken down professionally and personally if he sticks around. The whole media-created "feel good story" about the team after the hurricane is long over. Brees has done all he could to give the team some respectability and it's all obliterated now.

He was already very angry about their disrespect for him in the contract talks that still are not resolved. He should just declare he's open for the highest bidder and get out of there while he still can.

Just interviewed Roger Goodell, who said player discipline in Bounty case was coming "soon" & rejected "just following orders" defense

An announcement on player discipline in Saints bounty scandal is "unlikely" for today. Again. Have to wonder now if next week more likely.

"I look forward to cutting the oranges, hauling the Gatorade and watching my son play every game -- and being a part of calling plays for his offense and doing some things like that that really get me excited and I know get him excited."
