Chad Johnson or Marcus Trufant? Yeesh. 2005 called, they want their elite players back. If we are going to trade Gaffney I would try to trade him to a receiver needy team for an under-the-radar guy.
The Raiders do have young talent on their roster worth trading a player for. But knowing Shanahan, he will want a draft pick for Gaffney. More than likely a 7th rounder would do. But seeing as though Jeremy Jarmon was a 3rd round pick that we traded to Denver for Gaffney for, and seeing as though the Redskins are going to get a mid to late round pick for Gaffney makes Jarmon's 2009 3rd round supplemental selection so worthless......

We will be lucky to trade him. I read his tweets and that's some classic material. BWAHAHAHA.

So what?
In the past the Redskins haven't drafted well. Basically what I was saying proves my point. But then again it wasn't Jarmon's fault that the Redskins switched from a 4-3 to a 3-4 defense that didn't suit him.

gaffney for samuel. straight up!Get it done, Bruce.
I had us giving a third last year for Samuel. As it ended up, we got a first-second round value WR to fall to us in the third round, a steal we couldn't have gotten if we had traded that pick for three years of Samuel's career. So I'm just as happy with the pick we made as I would have been if we poached Samuel.
I don't think Haslett wants him though (even though he fits our base scheme) because coaches never like being limited in man coverage calls by those secondary members. And as weak as Hall is in coverage, he's not a guy who NEEDS to be in zone or NEEDS to be in man to succeed. Samuel needs to be in zone to be worth the money he's getting.

They are saying the Eagles will take whatever they can get for him, 6th or 7th round pick. If that's all people are offering would they trade within the division to us if we offered a 5th round? Would he be worth a 4th? We have two...
