Jabar Gaffney Told to Seek A Trade

Moss' release fee is around $4M (ive seen slightly lower numbers too), so cutting him wouldn't save anything from the cap. Gaffney's release fee is zero so we'd save $2M+ if we cut him.

I just went to twitter to check out the freakout he was going to have about the trade and....

I don't think he has a twitter page anymore, because I can't seem to find it.

He said it wasn't him, someone hacked his account and that he was going to delete the twitter account.

Gaffney at best is worth a 5th rounder.. If we get anything for him it would probably be a 7th rounder that could become a 6th should he play well.

The Redskins need more competition at Receiver while the Offensive Linemen are honored with tenure status.

Maybe JG was referring to the Skins all along in his tweets??

I liked Jabar Gaffney. This upcoming season is the last year of his contract. But if he really has to be traded, I hope the Redskins get a mid round pick or a quality player.

At least RG3 can claim his #10 now.

Maybe the Eagles can tell us how they convinced the Pats to give them a fifth rounder for Greg Lewis, so we can ask for a 4th or 5th rounder for Gaffney. Lewis was 30 at the time and did not have anywhere near the productivity that Gaffney had last season.

I read a rumor somewhere might have been on twitter .. Aquib Taleeb (sp) for Gaffney in some sort of deal .. may have just been a pipe dream .. but I like it ... we have Raheem who can work 1 on 1 with him that would be awesome at depth
