London Fletcher re-signs with RedskinsCrazyCanuck 04-13-2012, 07:41 PM :cheers GTripp0012 04-13-2012, 07:59 PM Critical signing, since an abnormally high percentage of Fletcher's responsibility in this upcoming season is going to come in the offseason, where we know he's healthy and ready to run the defense around him. As for actual on field performance, I think his best days as a Redskin are probably behind him. But the Redskins never got a Plan B in the fold, and so even a hobbled 37-year old Fletcher saves us from the alternative and probably prevents Perry Riley from being exposed as a coverage liability a bit longer. Mechanix544 04-13-2012, 08:09 PM I think that London Fletcher is a freak, an absolute ageless freak, and he will play for the skins for 5 more years at least. I also believe that he will have the most tackles of his career this year, as well as career highs in forced fumbles and interceptions and sacks, leading the skins to a top 3 defense and the playoffs. There, he will single handedly carry the franchise on his back to the SuperBowl, and win it on a safety, the only score of the game, and we beat the New England Patriots 2-0. Champs. NYCskinfan82 04-13-2012, 08:09 PM Glads he's back. Hope we didn't over pay. Mechanix544 04-13-2012, 08:10 PM It's about time, now let's get to the draft, followed by one of the most anticipated seasons in a long time. Easily the most anticipated since the return of Gibbs 2.0 MTK 04-13-2012, 08:55 PM 2 thumbs up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk CultBrennan59 04-13-2012, 08:57 PM The best move we've made this offseason Chico23231 04-13-2012, 09:10 PM Critical signing, since an abnormally high percentage of Fletcher's responsibility in this upcoming season is going to come in the offseason, where we know he's healthy and ready to run the defense around him. Damn Tripp you are really pissing in every bowl of cornflakes these days. Maybe Riley can improve? CultBrennan59 04-13-2012, 09:23 PM Redskins retain team captain London Fletcher - Washington Times (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/apr/13/redskins-re-sign-london-fletcher-team-captain-defe/) It's a 2 year deal..no idea the $ though SFREDSKIN 04-13-2012, 09:40 PM Now that Fletcher and Jackson signed, I can see the redskins going this way in the draft: RT LB CB S RB QB WR It could be in order of talent available at the time |
