I thought the article was okay. I don't agree with the notion that our running game is THAT much of a question mark. I mean in the latter half of the season, teams were pretty much daring us to pass and would stack up the LOS. Yet still Helu had pretty decent numbers with three 100+ yd games at the end of the season.

If Helu was able to produce with no passing threat, I think he'll be more productive with a passing game that will at least keep the defense honest.

Agree w/ this...I think the bigger question is how Kyle will balance run v pass?

Well, I think if the truth were known....sometimes he will call a pass play and sometimes he will call a run play......

It's okay - he didn't tell them the part where sometimes we will run left and sometimes we will run right.

It sounds like the Dallas Cowboys watched game tape of of Griffin III's final collegiate game against the Washington Huskies. The Huskies defense sacked RG3 4 times in that game but he still threw for over 300 yards and ran for over 100 more yards. RG3 will bring a whole new set of problems for NFL defenses. If Dallas brings pressure from the corner on the left or right, expect Griffin III to run in the opposite direction away from the blitzing corner. If they bring pressure up the middle with ILB Sean Lee, expect Griffin to allude the pressure by rolling to his left or right. Containing RG3 will be a monstrous chore for any NFL defense.

biggest problem: what they going to do when he uses the pocket? how are they always going to defend the run, bootleg, deep-ball, over the middle combos? The answer is you can't.

There are always ways to contain a quarterback. But blitzing RG3 could prove to be a mistake. If you look at most of Baylor's games, RG3 often beat the blitz when he was pressured. Kendall Wright and the other Baylor wide receivers had one on one match ups all season long. I do expect things to be a much more difficult for Griffin in the NFL. You can't blitz every QB. The only time when Tom Brady is sacked from off of a blitz is when he couldn't go anywhere with the football. But that rarely happens with Brady. Same thing with Aaron Rodgers. It was also difficult to sack John Elway because he could move around and riffle the ball down the field in just a matter of time. It will be the same thing with RG3.
