The old Skins would have shelled out mucho dinero for VJax who has already made his name in SD. The only signing I do not like is the Merriweather signing but other than that I think they did the best they could.

The only signing I do not like is the Merriweather signing but other than that I think they did the best they could.i share many of the same sentiments, but i don't mind the meriweather deal. i wanted to see davis signed to a long-term deal and landry tagged but since that didn't happen, jackson and meriweather were decent signings

Meriweather didn't shine with the Bears like the way he shined with the Patriots. I truly was skeptical about the Redskins signing him. I really don't think he's that good. But the fact that we attained decent young safeties like Tanard Jackson, Madieu Williams, and Cedric Griffin.

Not really FA news (yet) but the Radiers' Rolando McClain was just sentenced to 180 days in jail. Assault with a firearm.

That doesn't really shock me at all. As soon as I heard he was being traded, I was positive it was going to be Seattle who went after him. I'm not really sure why, I guess because Pete Carroll always chases players who were good in college, but I just felt like he had Seattle written all over him.
