TO is the hardest working player on the team. Everyone hates him, but he can deal with it. He has the first one in, last one out mentallity to football. I wish the skins had a player with his type of work ethic!

Also I should say that I am not a big TO fan, but all of this about his showboating, so what, really, if the guy is that good than so what. It's not braging if you can back it up. And so far he can. Just like his td celebrations, if teams or other players dont like them then dont let him score simple as that.

I totally agree. I have no problems with a player like TO because when he hits the field he plays his ass off and he's one of the top WR's in the game. I never had a problem with someone like Deion either, as long as a player can back up their antics on the field I have no problems with them.

Like someone mentioned earlier, TO has never been in any legal trouble, you never hear of him coked up hanging out with strippers, getting caught with weed in his car, getting picked up driving drunk, etc.

As far as athletes go he's a model citizen. So he draws some attention to himself once in a while, who cares?

That being said I tend to prefer a more humble kind of player who just does his job and keeps his mouth shut, but as long as someone like TO can back up his mouth with his play, I don't have a huge problem with it.

I do have problems with someone like Freddie Mitchell who had no business shooting his mouth off.

I think someone may have already mentioned this but this year I think we saw some of our own guys with a similar amount of heart and dedication. Arrington battled back to play even when the team was out of contention, Thomas came back really early on a bad hammy when the team was out of it, and Coles battled through some tough injuries all year.

Everybody trying to brush off what TO did needs to move the past the fact that he is an Eagle. I know it was damn Super Bowl. So what? He wasn't medically cleared to play. That means that he shouldn't have played. His doctor said that his career could be ended by playing on that leg. All I said was that TO's stats compared favorably to Branch's. And I think TO's impact was at least comparable to that of Branch's because him playing the way he did had to motivate a lot of the guys on that football team. Don't give me all of this crap how it wasn't that big of a deal just because you don't like him.

There are redskins with heart, but very few people in the NFL have a work ethic that even resembles TOs.

If TO didn't play the game wouldn't have been as close. He had a couple of big plays for them and more than anything gave them an emotional boost. I know people have a problem with his antics, but I don't see how anyone can't respect the guy for what he did. He sucked it up and risked his career by playing. If that was one of our guys doing the same thing we would be eating it up.

Matty's right. And don't give this banged up Pats secondary crap. Only one other receiver over 100 in the playoffs and that was Hines Ward. That secondary shut down Peyton Manning and the Colts. They are more than capable and they've proven that through out the playoffs. TO had a very good game.

TO is a great player and it was a beast move to play so well 6 weeks after a break. But the reason the media gives Farve credit for being a "warrior" and forgives all his stupid throws in pressure situations is because of the consecutive games streak, which pretty much gives anyone reason to call him a "warrior" anytime. I think Farve is overrated on his QB skills now, but he's still one tough bastard; definitly a legendary NFL "warrior."

You guys know that Jack Youngblood (rams DE when they went to the SB) had ths same injury as TO ...and missed like a half (not six weeks) but, with out a doubt TO showed up for the SB and is a great WR. I just could care less about the dramam w/ his leg. DG and his ribs ...missing no time...was much more impressive.
