For practical reasons I don't think that we can draft Rainey. His ego is too big to physically fit into the locker room.
Lol, but the way the committee is set up he'll need to be on his best behavior to get playing time. Plus his character issues will allow him to be had possibly as late as the middle of day 3.

Helu should enter the season as the starter. Period. Anything else doesn't make sense.
I agree

I think he has the talent, but lacks the durability to be a starter. I think if you put him out there as a 22+ carry a game back for the duration of the season, he isn't going to last.

^ How does he lack durability? One injury? He's carried the ball 20+ times for us already. Ryan Torain had durability concerns. Roy Helu, not so much.

Hey Shanny, how 'bout we bring in more safeties to camp instead of RBs? Just sayin'

Markelle Martin or Brandon Taylor in the 4th.

Roy helu has had durability concerns since college. He had four games of 20+ carrys not 16. Torain's durability issues are one reason why I don't want to push this kid. I think he has the talent, but I'd rather have a committee backfield.

Everyone has a committee backfield now, unless you have AP or MJD.

Show me where he had durability concerns in college. Being durable was one of his strengths.

Start Helu or Hightower (if healthy), either way is fine by me. More importantly, determine number of carries by performance game to game. If one is running lights out give him 20+ carries...and in all likelihood the other guy will be fresher next week. I don't see any positives to running one guy into the ground.
...so yeah make it a committee like others have said.
