I like Tebow, but this ain't gonna work.
For one he needs to get away from the spread zone read offense and fine a staff committed to teaching him to play QB.
I can't think of a worse team dynamic to enter then the Jets.
Tebow is already a polarizing figure, QB controversies can cause locker room schizms.
The Jets already have a fractured locker room and a insecure QB.
In my experience insecure people don't respond well to pressure.

Bad move by the Jets IMHO.
Gonna make the locker room even more volatile.
I dont see Tebow and Ryan gelling at all.

I say it works and the Jets win the division on the heels of Sanbow!!

I dont see Tebow and Ryan gelling at all. They're going to get along famously; Rex is going to make Tim read this passage from the Bible to him every day: "After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him."

Filed to ESPN: Denver and Jets have encountered hangup in language in Tim Tebow's contract that could nullify trade. If the Tebow trade to Jets falls apart, St. Louis could wind up getting back into play. Sides sorting through details.

I think this move makes the Jets quarterback situation stronger.
I think a bit of Elway's inexperience here showed through. I don't think Tannenbaum is a great GM, but I think Elway initially underestimated the market for Tebow, and then before it could set and possibly get him a third round pick plus, the Jets used Elway's market expectation against him to get him to take a deal that probably would have been lower than what St. Louis or Jacksonville would have offered.

I like this because to me it turns the loudest and most dysfunctional team into an even louder and more dysfunctional team. Should be fun to watch.
At the same time i feel really bad for Tim as i doubt he wants to be a part of this. Ive also lost tons of respect for Denver and Elway. Tebow did a lot of good for Denver and was treated like shit. I understand the nfl is a business and all that jazz, but you shouldnt treat people like garbage, espicially if they have treated and done well for you. i just hope this trade had Tebow's blessing.
I feel bad for him too, but I think it would've been hard to keep in Denver. Still, if they could ignore the tebowmania fans, it made sense for him & the team unless he refused to be a backup, play another position, etc. I'm not saying he looked like a starting qb for most of his games, but he did come up big v. the steelers in the playoffs.

Hmm, one wonders what Jeff Fisher and co. are thinking.
