It was just a pro day, I don't know how you can determine that from throwing in shorts and T-shirts. John Beck looked good in this system in the preseason in shorts and T-shirts.
Sorry but Beck has never looked anything close to RGIII.

I was worried about the Colts taking RG3 but if the sentaments are the same from the ownership then I think we are fine....
Hoge is an idiot! RGIII over Luck and here's why... - Unofficial Indianapolis Colts Fan Forums (http://www.coltfreaks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58917)
Merrill Says #rg3Overluck - Indianapolis Colts Fan Forum (http://forums.colts.com/index.php?/topic/6599-merrill-says-rg3overluck/)
The reasons they stated are exactly why RG3 is the fans choice in this draft process. Think about what we're dealing with. Throwing the ball in shorts and running 40's. Basically a huge focus on physical tools and all this before Luck has thrown a single pass for scouts.
Scouts are watching tape and seeing Luck make adjustments at the line of scrimmage and find his third receiver on multiple occasions. The 70%+ completion percentage in a pro style offense also holds more weight then one in a spread system among many other factors.
See I hate this, this makes me sound like I'm anti RG3 and/or that Griffin is all physical tools while Luck is all mental tools. They're both extremely smart and amazing athletes. You don't loose in getting one of these QB's.
However right now there are way to many people, at least around Redskin nation, that don't appreciate the type of prospect Luck is.

He ran a 4.46 I believe. Thats pretty impressive for a 241 pound hb. He also showed his ability to catch the ball.

They should target him instead of Hightower.

Excellent post. I think part of the problem is that everyone has assumed for months that luck was the undisputed #1 pick and now all the media talks about is griffin. I think a lot of fans and pundits are just caught in the rg3 hype because he's the bigger story. I hate the comparison but luck is like manning and rg3 is like a better Michael Vick. Both are excellent qbs. One is better, but the other is more exciting.
I'd be thrilled with either. Luck is safer, but rg3s upside is almost limitless.

Most say luck is safer.. why.? It's not like RG3 has any red flags

Who was better Magic or Bird? I say why compare the two -- they are both great. I think RG3's skill set would serve the skins better while Luck's skill set would serve the colts better. I think the people who are sleeping on RG3 underestimate his decision making ability and those who sleep on Luck underestimate his athleticism. I think both qb's would thrive in skins' system next year.

Because he's just as good, has played in a pro style offense, has proven that he can play and is also very smart and athletic. Think of him as a Tom Brady that can run, can run people over, makes quick decisions, etc. I've watched the guy play around for a few years here and believe me he's as good as advertised. I prefer Luck I'm more familiar with him, but would not be one bit upset if RGIII is our QB.
