On one video replay on ESPN, RGIII was moving his feet like old-school singer James Brown.

KI Skins Fan 03-21-2012, 06:42 PM Call me crazy but it wouldn't shock me if a team called us and offered 4 1sts and a 2nd for our pick. I think they would be turned down. We are golden with that #2 pick. mbedner3420 03-21-2012, 06:48 PM On one video replay on ESPN, RGIII was moving his feet like old-school singer James Brown. Is it sad that when you mention James Brown all I can think of is the Eddie Murphy 'too hot for the hot tub' snl sketch? Crazier things have happened. Mechanix544 03-21-2012, 07:05 PM No to that trade. We finally have our quarterback. Keep him, put whatever weapons around him you can, show confidence in him, and rally the squad, being on the brink of a new, winning era of Redskins football. HAIL!!!!! NYCskinfan82 03-21-2012, 07:08 PM Oh hell yeah NO to that trade. It's true what they say about RG3 he just flicks the ball really no effort behind it. warriorzpath 03-21-2012, 07:14 PM Is it sad that when you mention James Brown all I can think of is the Eddie Murphy 'too hot for the hot tub' snl sketch? Also good to hear he didn't grow up a cowboys fan. 30gut 03-21-2012, 07:50 PM If Shanahan effs with Griffin's mechanics, I will find him. That was among the more impressive pro days I've ever seen. At this point, the better Griffin performs from now til April, the less likely it is he'll be there when we pick. Which isn't at all a bad thing.lol, not if I get there first. Even though I've had Griffin ahead of Luck for my overall QB board for awhile, http://www.thewarpath.net/nfl-draft-central/45369-2012-qb-prospects-part-2-a-21.html#post864528, I have Luck ahead of Griffin for this team because I think Luck is a safer pick. The less assembly required i.e. coaching, teaching etc. the better. I see Luck as a more plug and play QB then Griff. I believe Luck's crisp footwork in the timing/rhythm drop back passing game is a huge plus; its an AP level QB class that Griff doesn't have yet, along with pro-style/pro-concept pre-snap reads. I have very little doubt that Griff can learn these skills but it comes with assembly. Luck has 'less assembly required'. Either way we get a great prospect. |
