Redskins Sign DB Cedric Griffin

I know it's been discussed in other threads but new signings get new threads so....

At what point are we over quota on Griffins?

Next signing, Peter Griffin?

I hope Raheem Morris can help him, it doesn't bode well that Leslie Frazier couldn't.

Guessing that means no Aaron Ross.

I like this signing. He came cheap (2.5M) and could be a high reward player for little risk. There's a chance he's still not completely healthy, but we'll see.

Ross is still coming in to visit. Not totally out of the realm of possibility they sign both.

Also, Griffin could play safety

He's an experienced body for the secondary who is better than Byron Westbrook.

The signing isn't official. He supposedly hasn't put pen to paper, and after Eddie Royal I think we all should wait for more than just the WP to report it as an official signing.

Wrong. We still are having Aaron come in and visit today. He lands this afternoon. But it could mean no DHall. Also as others have mentioned Griffin was looked at as a possible FS.
