A little off-topic but the Texas Longhorns just "revealed" a new practice uniform. Seriously, an event for a practice uniform?

Anyways, here's the disaster that Nike created for them. I'm now very thankful for the NFL's strict uniform code.


The Terps made a big hoopla about their uniforms in the offseason. Now, a wasted/terrible/horrible season later they look foolish for having done so. Come to think of it, it was pretty foolish when they did it then.

If I'm not mistaken I read that it could be as early as 11:00 am that the new Uni's could be presented to the public. Here was WTOP's article....

The proposal for a new Redskins design moves away from the "Indian head" logo that first graced the helmet in 1972, and has since caused significant controversy from American Indian advocates. I'm not sure if they are just refering to the pictured uni or if they got some inside info about what our new uni would look like and they are showing this picture which really does not flow with what they are saying. The helmet yes but not the jersey.

Besides, the Skins current logo is on some of the new Nike merch already being sold, so I doubt any change is coming this year.
