I hate to interupt the Throwback conversation, but what are the Skins wearing this weekend @ Steelers? White tops on Gold bottoms I guess?

No, we only wore the gold 75ths ONCE against the Giants. We lost so badly that we scrapped them.

The 70th spear set was worn twice against the Giants and 49ers, which is the league limit for throwbacks, except for the league's 75th anniversary in 1994...seemed like there were no rules then. We had road and home throwback versions, as did all teams because the league wanted everyone to match up in throwbacks. Most of those uniforms were hideous and inaccurate thoughman, i really thought we wore them for a handful of games.

i was also confused because i attended the redskins-saints game in 2003, and they were wearing the spears. have they worn the spears since 2003?

It is now. Goodell is much stricter about uniforms than previous Commissioners.

Dallas usually wears white at home, and on Thanksgiving I think both teams can wear dark of I'm not mistaken

Only if they're throwbacks...and that exception applies any time throwbacks are worn. Thanksgiving is just the popular time to do it, that's why I initially predicted we'd wear them on Turkey Day. I didn't even think about saving them for just home games (good move).
