Profile pics on postings..?

What's the chance we can get our pic(s) on each posting..? Gives each user a sense of ones self.

Example:

I'm going to put the avatars back in, but I'm not sure about letting everyone include pics in their sigs. From the way I see it, it clutters up the board and can be distracting when there is avatars along with pics in the sigs. But what does everyone else think?

Personally when I visit a board that has pics all over the place it turns me off, but that's just my opinion.

I'd rather keep the board just as it was. I did enable text signatures on this one though.

What do you guys think?

Picks are annoying as is bolded, italicized and underlined text in some illegible font. As far as I'm concerned get rid of those options and just give us a text box, it makes it a lot easier to read!

I liked how everyone had icons based on posts before, sounds like you're working to re-impliment that.

Yeah, dont let people put pictures in. It clutters it up terribly, I mean its all in good thought, but thats what makes some of the other boards so hard to look it and follow

Yeah, we're here to read opinions and get news, not marvel at someone's text editing prowess. Plus, my only option is dialup, so the less I have to load, the better!

instead of an avatar for rank, could each person would be able to pick their own (keeping to size restraints of course), and not allow pictures in signatures, responses, etc...

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing BD, letting everyone choose their own Skins avatar. I'll probably have something going by this weekend. Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeah, I think that avatar idea is really good. If its possible, which i dont really know what you could do, but to put somthing that shows their ranking too. I just liked working my way up before, and thought it was fun, but the Avatar idea is much better than mine, but just a thought

I'm for custom pics on our postings instead of ranked avatars. But would also consider updated avatar pics with cooler styles.

I also found the promotion in pic based on postings to be fun. :D
